When I looked at your heading, I was under impression that you are going to saw your watch in half with that saw. But then I looked on the picture and I realized that the watch is safe. I feel better now.
Ran it through about an 18" pine stump i had sitting around. took about 8 rounds off of it. a LITTLE bogging down in the center. I am thinking of gutting that muffler. Soo much restriction in that thing!
Wonder if the vibration from a chainsaw is potentially too much for the Hamilton (I don’t believe that movement has any special shock protection)? 🤔
I’m sure it will be fine. Shock and vibration gets really blown out of proportion. Incabloc pretty much solved this issue in the 1930s so well that most shock obsorbers today are based on the same design.

Nice saw. Echo saws are my favorite.

Don’t ever let the blade/chain touch the dirt! Will instantly dull it And it will have to be re-sharpened.
