Watches in the Wild rip-off (sorry @Edge168n…)
It’s not often that you go out on an evening and end up talking watches for an hour with strangers.
It all started when I was eying the Rado you see here (sorry for the bad quality pictures, the lighting in the bar was horrible). It was on the arm of a Scotsman and when I had enough to drink to muster up the courage to ask him about it, he and his husband were immediately triggered! I ended up on their table, abandoning my friends who, after a hour, were shouting across the table: ‘Are you still talking about watches?!’ 🤭
So now I have new friends…
I can not identify the other watch, so if anyone knows what it is, please comment below!
P.S. When I am scouting out watches on arms, the first thing I do is to see if the seconds hand sweeps or ticks… Recognisable?

When I surf lower-priced watches on Amazon US store, they constantly insert OLEVS watches into my search regardless of what search terms I enter. They really push them. I’ve never seen one in the wild, myself.
The kind of meet-up you had is my wife’s nightmare (usually happens with cars), but it’s so much fun. Glad you got to talk watches!
Seeing an Olevs in the wild is like going to a zoo and watching the squirrels.

It looks awesome. Like kind of hogh polished gun metal ... but never scratching.
It's the True Open Heart.
But I'm more into tge True Square.
But what an interesting couple.
The one which such an tastefull watch and the other with a Tele-Home-shopping-Channel-watch.
I guess he has to love him so much to ignore his watch taste. Well that's true love ❤😊

The one with the Olev told me he buys them of the street venders here in GC as a sport to get as many different watches possible. He said he has dozens! 😄 And he also has some more high end ones, which he is not wearing on holidays. They were an interesting couple indeed! He is going to send me pictures of his great- great grandfather's silver pocket watch, so stay tuned!
