Searching for a watchbox

Greetings folks!

Like a lot of us, i have more watches than slots in my current watchbox.  I've been searching around and haven't really found anything i like.  I have one of those horrid "leather" covered ones that deteriorate once you start using it, and i hate it.

Im looking for a unique/uncommon watchbox to store my watches in.  Maybe a metal box, or a military inspired one...something different...with solid build quality, of course.

Any recommendations?

There are so many choices and I too, like you, have had many boxes including winders. I've found that I like Bosphorus leather because I'm looking to store a larger collection, but Nalpak has some good options as does Wolf. You may also consider doing a google image search to see what comes up. I've learned of some interesting brands like Charles Simon. As with most things prices vary (i.e. Charles Simon $$$$).

Great recommendations, i'll look into Nalpak and Wolf.

"Solid build quality" as in, the case will look and feel the same as it did from day 1 to day 1000.

I like the idea of having a Pelican case for my digital Casios and G-SHOCKS for that rugged military aesthetic.

I'll check out the link.

Wow, those are gorgeous!

A bit out of my price range, but something i should probably invest in.

Yes, cases like that are very handy..Also for thieves, who can walk away with the whole collection in a few seconds 😮😎. Putting all your watches in one box because it is attractive is a very, very bad idea.

You need to address for yourself first where the storage will be located before investing in 'handy' packages.

Hauterow 12 slot carbon fiber watch box. I’ve had it for a year and I absolutely love it. It’s very high quality and the rolls are incredible quality as well. Plus it has a drawer for your tools and straps or whatever you want.

Big red tool box at Home Depot. It locks and too heavy to steel. Nice drawers with rubber liners. Will hold a ton of watches and their original boxes.

I am with Blue Dial love the Pelican Case. They come I’d different sizes some with two layers of foam so you can stack, water proof and lockable.

Well, maybe invest in a safe if you fear for thieves when you are away. I personally enjoy seeing all my watches in a neat box every morning.

If you want an inexpensive Case Club type, get an Apache case from Harbor Freight (said to be the same maker of the Case Club cases), then cut a pipe insulator or Pool Noodle for the watch pillows.

If you like a wood box, finestboxes on ebay are very nice solid wood boxes from Germany.

Solid wood, chunky hardware, awesome condition.

Now i need slots for the watches to slip into. Dunno if there's a solution out there i can use, if someone has any recommendations, that would be awesome.

The ammo crate measures out to be 31 1/2 X 14 X 9 and about 10lbs.
