Need chrunchy help guys

I love the paul newman daytona, and i am thinking of buying an hommage.

The alpha chronograph with the seagull movement would be my choice.

Does anyone have experience with it or other suggestions?

My choice would be the WMT Montana, but only because I have other WMTs that have been excellent.

I’ve had it, it leaves a lot to be desired

Baltic has a nice homage:

Yema also has a nice quartz

What I started to find out is that budget mechanical watches are pretty much throw away watches and more expensive to service (at least where I'm from) especially for Chronographs. I would get a seagull to enjoy a mechanical but have quartz as my primary option to last a longer time.

Thanks man i totally agree with you.

The thing is specially the red lettering makes it for me.

I have an seagull and i enjoy it very much, i think with the same movement and ah good leather strap it could be a good hommage.

Very different watch here, but take a look at the Lorier Gemini - RACER. It nicks the red/black minute track. Looks awesome!

Try a Seiko Speedtimer, good watch, reasonably priced and solar power (or the much more expensive automatic version)

Gevril Tribeca. It’s one of the only Paul Newman homages that seems to be “accepted” but even the snobs. Granted, idgaf about what I should or shouldn’t be wearing, but the Tribeca is great.
