Happy Valentine’s Day to me.

After two months at the service center, I finally got my GS back today. Just in time for Valentine’s dinner.

NWA Alert (sort of).

My second attempt at a watch Mod (fist had a few set-backs). It didn’t go exactly as planned. I wanted to swap dials, but found the one I had was too...

I may get my WC card taken away. But, I think both can exist in a collection. I have too many mechanical watches and I have an Applewatch. I use them both. I love my mechanicals and one quartz Boluva Lunar Pilot. I use the applewatch for working out, for gps on the golf course, or sometimes just hanging out at the house. When it becomes obsolete I’ll probably get another one, but it won’t break my heart. I guess in many ways it’s the ultimate “tool” watch for me. I use it for for very specific tasks.

Tough choice. I think they’re all great and different. I don’t think I can help much. Haha.

As others have said, I rotate my watches so frequently that it really isn’t that big of deal for me. I appreciate how accurate my Omega, but in reality I never really notice.

commented on How many watches are too many watches? ·

I struggle with this too. Not because I think there is some magical number. But mostly just because I really like the watches I have and want to wear them. And when I get too many in my collection it feels like I don’t wear any of them enough. Right now I have 4 core watches (5 if you count a vintage citizen that only really wear for special occasions). Then I have 3 mods/builds I’ve made that I really like and then 2-3 that I’m working on at any given time. I’ve kinda settled on wearing at least one of my core watches every week and one of mods every week. I try to wear them each for a couple days at a time so they get some love.

Having served in the Navy, I would not buy it if had any specific unit info on it at all. But if I didn’t have any, I would jump on that one if I had the chance. I think it’s an awesome looking watch.

Yeah, and it’s probably the nicest strap and clasp I have.

Hahaha. I shouldn’t admit it on WC. But I wear an Apple Watch when I’m working out. But I don’t show it in my STOC. Lol.
