All my divers go in the shower with me. Field watches too depending 9n the strap. Dress watches no just a cloth if needed.
Shower time is next level! I thought steam wasnโt good for seals or something? I do go in the spa though with my divers, perhaps thatโs even worse ๐คฃ
Iโll take mine in the shower with me and give them a wipe and/or rinse if Iโve been doing something that I think calls for it. Thatโs about as close to washing a watch that I get.

Yep me too and the sauna! Personally I can't see an issue with any of that. Part of the appeal of a diver for me is the ease of cleaning at the same time I'm cleaning myself up. Surely seals are robust enough to deal with changes in temperature and a bit if steam!?

They should I guess ๐คฃ never had one fog up on me either
I prefer isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth or lens wipes designed for my camera. Only time I soap and washed my watch was after a particularly filthy lake swim to get the scum off.
Be careful with using soaps other than antibacterial soap meant for dishes/pans, it'll remove some of the grease. Use the soap with lukewarm water and dry it with a soft microfibre cloth.

No.
Not ever in 50 years.
I wipe them down occasionally and rinse a bracelet on occasion but I've never given any watch a bath.
No
Sure do, mild detergent wonโt hurt em๐๐ป
I use a dab of dish soap on an extra soft bristle toothbrush. Warm water.
Of course thatโs only for watches that have a decent water rating. I work in a pretty dirty environment and my daily gets caked in gunk.

Same, I feel like a dab of soap goes a long way!
I scrub my watches with >100 WR with dish soap and a soft toothbrush every other week or so. Especially in the summer to clean off the sweat.

Never get a watch wet that has not been serviced for 5 years. Seals die at 6.

Yup! Clean them every two weeks or more if needed. During the summer, it gets humid in nyc. Will clean them weekly if humid.

I just put mine in the dishwasher from time to time. They're all 100+ meters of wr anyway.
