And I believe whoever buys this watch and own it should "belong" with regular speedy owners.

But...3 series is still very much a BMW. 

BMW didn't make a 3 series mixed with a entry level Mini Cooper, limit it to only select dealers in limited quantities, with each customer only able to buy 2. This is Omega creating hype, and I personally hate it.

I just very much feel like Omega and Swatch did this watch not to make people who're enthusiastic about Speedmaster to be able to own it.

It's really just a hype machine. That's why they made it so hard to get.

True Speedy loves probably already own a speedy or two.

It's just my opinion, but this release kinda just shows me why sometimes I hate the current watch industry.

SBGM221 to me. I just wish they manage to squeeze it to a 38mm. 39.5 is just a tad too big for an elegant watch like this.

Yeah if the gray dealer is saving me 20% then definitely gray. But I'm not spending 50% more for a Rolex gray.

Also, a lot of times, for non super popular watches, ADs can give you discounts. Just ask and see what they can do. You can shop around the country too.

I was wearing vintages daily before the pandemic when I go to the office every day. It just really depends on the watch you're wearing.

I've been inquiring about this watch at some ADs but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Normally you can expect a 15% discount off MSRP too.

I haven't seen an AD that carries this watch in their display so it's somewhat a risk to buy it without trying.
