Bucherer NYC

Anybody been to Bucherer on E57th in NY? How is it? They have a great variety and thought I’d check it out. Their spot in KOP, PA is within range as well.

I’ve been there a few times. Lots of stuff. I find the staff to be quite snobby. The folks across the way at the Breitling boutique are much more friendly and are visibly having a good time.

If you have the time, drive the extra 30 minutes to see the good folks at London Jewelers in Manhasset.

William Barthman downtown is nice too. Smaller selection, but a better experience IMHO.

Wempe too!

I have. They’re great. Just be direct with staff. Let them know that you’re either looking or you’re actually interested. I think they’re totally fine if you’re up upfront about what you’re intentions are.

Previous comment recommended London jewelers and I agree. They have a location In the oculus as well

I've been to the one in KOP, and it's nice. This was the first place I saw Longines, Carl F. Bucherer and Glashütte Original.

It’s a much easier time going there than Manhattan - maybe I’ll go there. ✌️

So much better than Tourneau was !

I stopped by there recently. Great selection. Much better than other Bucherer stores.

I’ve been to and continue to go this location (Bucherer Timemachine) and the KOP location. I’ve found both staff to be amazing and respectful. My wife and I stop by TimeMachine anytime we’re in midtown Manhattan. Grab a free coffee (or cocktail downstairs) and chat with our Rolex AD. The KOP one is quite small and the reps aren’t as responsive via text or email.

Agreed, if you dont come across as a serious buyer at that moment, they seem to tolerate your presence but don't come across as too friendly

I prefer KoP, they have a few watch stores in there like Omega and Breitling. Plus the Hamilton boutique is about an hour away in Lancaster if you want to make a day trip.

I was in Brent Miller last weekend in Lancaster. Some nice options there. They double teamed me with high pressure sales tactics. 😂

I’ve been trying to get the phone number to that store but nothing comes up on the net. Does anyone have it?
