What are your thoughts on Zenith?

Good and thin chronograph movement, you can’t go wrong with Zenith 💪

Zenith is an underappreciated brand that doesn't get the love it would deserve. Only issue I have are often date placement at 4.30 and sometimes subpar bracelets and clasps. From chrono movement point of view second to none in their price segment and a bit higher

As an outsider not having owned/worn a Zenith, I see the El Primero as an iconic movement. Some good looking watches there, perhaps I’ll get around to trying them in a few years.

Love mine. Works very well on the bracelet or straps, very well finished, pretty accurate.

It has a cool history and you don’t see them often (unlike, say, a Speedy or Daytona).

I never really dove deep into Zenith watches but recently they keep popping up in the newsfeeds I follow. There is something about them that is really cool. As my wife would say they have a "street" feel without feeling tacky but a sophistication to them that screams high finish and technical excellence. I was thinking of getting one for my sister-in-law as a congratulations for her opening her new cocktail bar. She is a huge street fashion person and I thought a Zenith would be perfect for a commemoration gift.

I like Zenith watches. But the defy line leaves me cold. The one you have on this picture is👌

I love the El Primero, I would even consider it as my grail watch.

I Appreciate their history of being the first automatic chronograph but not a fan of their design style. I prefer their defy models

Zenith’s reputation is based around the chronograph. El primero is a horological statement. The chronomaster sport is a very good example of their abilities. Don’t think you could go wrong with one of their pieces.

Zenith is a great brand, with heritage and true watchmaking, especially for chronographs. The El Primero is a great calibre, although the cal. 400 has a horizontal clutch, but 10th of a second accuracy. 👏🏻
