There's a specific San Martin watch that I have been looking at for quite a while and wanted to buy when I came to China, but that dream was soon crushed as Taobao doesn't seem to work with my foreign card.
Quite a bit of time has passed by and I decided to look at international stores. Wouldn't be the cheapest price, but it would at least make returning easier if required as I haven't paid VAT (which would not be returned) before receipt and I don't need to ship it to another continent.
As such, I have now ordered a SN0107GX from Watchdives, which I hope will actually ship to me properly (there's a system at the university which I'm staying at). Looking forward to receiving it sometime next week.

The watch, for everyone who doesn't know the entire SM catalog by heart:

I opted to go for this one with applied indices.
A nice looking watch 👌
I'm very tempted to pick up one of their new aqua dial offerings to see what the hype is all about with SM. 👍

Yup, it is.
I hope it ends up fitting me fine. I have seen some complaints about sharp edges on the case.
I have a green one. The sharp edges are there, but don't bother you while wearing the watch. I really love this watch.
Imho looks better than the Tudor with the applied indices. 🤫

For me certainly. Not like I can get a Tudor in 36mm.
Good choice, @ottop1. I have that one; you won’t regret it.
Affordable homages, what's not to like.
I’m a fan of SM but not so much Tudor so would look elsewhere in their range. Their GMT (NH34) with the beads of rice bracelet is a nice watch and it’s not as big as a lot of the NH34 watches so suits me nicely. Their quality/value proposition is strong and I like it when they do something removed from direct homages (albeit often derivative but what isn’t these days).
