My 90 year old retired accountant friend wanted to purchase a vintage gold Patek Philippe Calatrava to wear on his escape from winter cruises, overpaid for a nice model from a well known seller who is friendly with his wife circle of wealthy friends. I pissed off my friend when I said that he should have bought a Patek perpetual moonphase to make a more emphatic statement.
One of the funny things is that I've never actually seen a Patek Philippe in real life, not even in a shop window, but I've now seen hundreds of them online.
times are crazy....I know a couple of guys actually owning one...none of them are wearing the PP on the street, only at home for Christmas or so @casiodean
You should visit watches and wonders in April ... there you can see the grails

Begs the question: what were YOU doing when this picture was taken?!
But besides that: magnificent watch man. Patek at its finest.
It’s simply gorgeous. No words.
Awesome watch! Nice statement, care to elaborate further ?
