A new watch from Just One More Watch have come out:
Erebus’s first Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) sports watch.
Personally I like Adventurine one.
The price is below U$500.
Miyota movement.
39mm diameter.

I can’t tell from the website if the crown is screw down. Do you know?
I was very excited. Now im confused and prety sure i wont buy. I expected more. This is just generic boring watch that is made by 100000 other brands. Very disapointing.
I like the malachite and blue enamel dial personally. Jody has another solid design here.

That’s a good question. I have asked Jody’s partner in the Facebook group this very same question.
I think they did a great job with them, and are offering a great selection.
I particularly like the purple dials, they are interesting without looking clownish.
I think this is incredible, especially for the price. I know the lug to lug is 👍but the 39 mm size is the only thing holding me back.

Without even looking I know this will be a spec monster; because specs are easy to achieve. That will be more than enough for many enthusiasts.
Once again, though, it doesn’t move the design game on in any way.
Generic, conventional designs and bright colours are seemingly enough to satisfy Erebus’s customers, so who am I to criticise?

To me they look a bit seiko/ grand seiko especially the enamel dials, its the markers and hands , and the case looks very Chistopher Ward ( light catcher case ). I think the white dial with the j style bracelet looks good after that the black enamel or black helix. Probably wont get one myself but i think its a great value proposition . P.s. the applied logo and simple dial with date at 6 is also well done. Bravo !
simple but good design. the shape of the indices match the shape of the hands, the framed date at 6, applied logo, sporty case with enough water resistance, sapphire and a miyota 9 series.
all in all a good package but i personally like my micro-brands to be a bit more unique. maybe the helix dial variants are worth a look for me, who knows :)
