The Tudor Ranger is one of my favorite watches in my collection, but I have mixed feelings about the brand overall, due to the ever growing prices (close to those of Omega these days), countless Black Bay whatever models and the heavy reliance on the connection they have with Rolex. I'd like to see them innovate a bit more (e.g. do more things like the Pelagos) and lean less on theirs (Rolex's) heritage going forward, but I'm guess I'm in the minority here.
I tried the Longines last year and it felt a bit big on my 17cm wrist (mostly because of the very long lugs). In general I can buy a more expensive watch if I really like one, but I just didn't see many options that were particularly appealing to me on the market. On the higher end I'm mostly thinking about a Pelagos of some sort.
