Oh my god I just got my first watch by myself!!! I got this watch as I am about to go to camp next week and I wanted a watch that is cheap but also sturdy and rugged, and f91w came to mind as I really wanted to own that watch but never had enough money to buy it and today I bought it for $20 dollars. I am so happy ๐. but I have problem is it water resistant enough to handle showers, rain, kayaking or just submerging the watch in water

Taking a shower should not be a problem, but don t go further. Welcome to the god- tier!

Thank you !! But I had seen videos of divers wearing their f91w did they put mineral oil in it? And I also saw other people saying that the f91w is able to withstand swimming
Donโt press any buttons underwater and you should be fine.
Excellent choice! Officially it's only splashproof, but I've read enough reviews to realize that people shower and swim with them and it catches up with them several months later. So you'd be tempting fate but it will probably make it through the season. If you care about longevity, don't risk it.

The mad watch collector has a vid online in which he stated he has a customized one, filled with silicone oil.
I have a few 'wr'- ones from casio, and all are fine with showering. Just as already mentioned do not press any buttons while there s water or vapour around
Congrats on your purchase. Check out this video of a guy scuba diving with his F-91w

I'm 41 and had many watches, however never the original F91W.... until a few days ago when I decided to pull the trigger, and I have never felt more excited about receiving a watch!

Plus, they're SO cheap to replace, you can live life a little and not have to worry :)
Congratulations. !
