We need the deets on what she's been wearing if those are the "set asides"!👀
Pains me to say, but Apple watch. I tried to break her of it with a 35mm 2000s yacht master (168622) last year for her birthday, but it probably only sees wrist time once or twice a month. We just had dinner with one of her friends who likes watches, so we talked watches for about 20min. Maybe she is thinking it is cool now that she sees her friend into it and not just me.😀

The Apple watch is a LOT more useful, the mechanical is an affectation. That's why I dual wrist, but dual wristers are rare, female ones are nearly nonexistent.

I have enough connectivity, don’t need it on the wrist as well

Its not just the connectivity, its the health monitoring and the fact its how I pay for things or use the cash machine. Its pretty much my wallet as well as my heart monitor. My weather service, Random questions guru, GPS. I use my Airpods with it for music. Some days I just leave the phone at home. It works perfectly well without it and make crystal clear calls.

I totally get all of that stuff. I use a Garmin fenix 7X for excercise & backcountry mapping, and an Oura ring for sleep and readiness monitoring.
A fair bit of vintage Seiko, with some vintage Doxa, Rolex, Blancpain, Enicar, Benrus, Zenith, etc thrown in. Plus some modern stuff that strikes my tool / diver fancy.

Maybe those Happy Diamonds (the first I see on WC) are a more positive distraction than notifications on an Apple watch these days.
