You have so many watches and that is your only mechanical chronograph?
I am generally a dive watch guy, specifically a vintage dive watch guy. This Seiko 6138-0049 “Bullhead” from 1974 is me getting out of my lane. Why do I have it? I love the crazy case shape (several millimeters thicker at 12 o’clock than at 6). Love the pushers on top of the case. Oh, did I mention the colors? Brown dial, maroon tachymeter, and gold sub-registers. Sometimes it’s good to get out of your lane.

A fair bit of vintage Seiko, with some vintage Doxa, Rolex, Blancpain, Enicar, Benrus, Zenith, etc thrown in. Plus some modern stuff that strikes my tool / diver fancy.

What I like about Seiko is how easy they are to date especially if someone is looking for a specific month AND year. Here are two 1974 "Pogues" from my vintage Seiko stash.

Agree that the serial number system on Seiko is awesome. Frankly wish all brands did it. Really helps to place their watches at a moment in time.
