Help needed WatchCrunch community!!!
We are going on holiday and need help in selecting the final 2 pieces for the trip.
I split my watch choices into 3 sections Chill / Explore / Evenings and try to match around the environment, what we are doing and attire.
Chill - Pool & Beach wearing swim shorts, vests, flip flops. This is sorted as this is always my Panerai PAM00090 on a orange rubber strap.
From the below choices in my collection is where I need the WatchCrunch community.
Travel / Explore / Seeing the sites wearing shorts, t shirts and either flip flops or trainers.
Evenings / Restaurants / Bars wearing tailored shorts, shirts or polo with sandals or boat shoes.
1. Rolex GMT II 116710LN on a green rubber strap
2. Omega Seamaster Diver 300 210.30.42.20.01.001 on a black rubber strap with white stitching
3. IWC Big Pilot IW500401 on a leather band
4. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 220.12.41.21.06.001 on a calf leather band
Please Help??
I picked the GMT because it's a total all-rounder
First world problems.
Why would anyone care about your holiday watch crisis. 😂
The Panerai can handle all those functions. Forget about your watch and enjoy your vacation.
First off, you have wonderful selection of watches.
When selecting watches while going on vacation, I ask myself 3 “what if” questions all of which must be answered with a “I don’t care” response.
What if this watch gets stolen?
What if this watch breaks?
What if this watch gets lost?
And as a result of these 3 questions, this usually ends up being my vacation watches:
Casio Mudmaster - Explore/Active
Casio MRW-200 (white) -poolside/beach
Casio M5610u with alloy bracelet - daytime/casual
Casio Duro (blue) on jubilee bracelet or the 38mm Orient Bambino for evenings/dinner.
Btw, I selected “B”, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300.
Enjoy your vacation. 👍
