NWA: Omega Seamaster 300 (not SMP300) ;)

While my collection is way too large already, i never had a really traditional diver. (only got an Orient Kamasu, a Planet Ocean, and a Vostok).

So i've "researched" on Youtube for the last months ... (BB58, BB54 ...) and basically settled for a brand new Seamaster 300. For that price it's almost a nobrainer.

Nice tapered bracelet, with a small and excellent fitting clasp. Very well suited for a vintage looking watch.

Domed sappire crystal, but more organic than the somewhat angular one of the Tudors.

A Sandwich dial, which reminds me of Panerais.

Very polished hands, that reflect light when you need it (exactly when also the crystal is reflecting some light). Therefor you can always read the time.

You even get the same movement as the Ploprof and PO Ultra Deep has. And you can view it through a huge glas caseback!

And noone around you will ever know it. It's not a watch that draws attention, just how i like it.

A beautiful watch. One of the greats. A smart buy. Congratulations.

It's gorgeous except for one thing -- I can't stand the lollipop seconds hand.

Congrats! I’m over a month in with the same model and love it!

Nice looking watch

Beautiful! After much debate I ended up with the blue dial version. It’s a fantastic every day wear. Super comfortable and great specs. A very under appreciated model.

I actually ordered the Omega mesh bracelet for it today. The factory bracelet is great but I’m rough on my toys and need a bracelet that won’t scratch.

Any thought on the thickness of it?

For me it’s perfect. Thin enough that if I’m in a suit it looks dressy enough and can go under cuffs and look the part. If I’m more casual it has a nice weight and feel to it befitting of a dive watch.
