Suitable for a NATO?

Just bought this watch from a seller in Moldova. I really want to put a nice Select-Heure NATO strap on it, but I’m a little concerned that it will look a little funny on a NATO because of how thick the watch is and how the caseback is not even with the lugs.

Might want to try a single-pass or a Nato modified to single-pass.

Here's my 31659 on nato, I think the cases look similar thickness. Hopefully this can give you some comparison. But natos aren't expensive so you could pick up a cheap one just to try it out.

Yeah mine has the exact same size and case shape as yours. So it might work on mine to but the caseback is a little bit taller on mine because of the rotor. I’ve orders a cheap nato to try on it before I buy something more expensive.

Thanks for the pics, and very nice Soviet Air Force issued Sturmanskie chronograph!

"You can NATO anything"

  • James Bond, probably

What about MN straps? I think it ought to look good on that watch
