A parody of my collection

Since everyone have tendency to describe they collection I thought that I would spend my two cents as well. First I would introduce my Seikonaut homage. While assembling it together I ran into every modder's nightmare, and that is cutting a stem shorter than I needed. Although the functionality is admirable despite its short length (the date can be set on it as well as the time) but manually winding the movement is already an other story lol Thankfully, the manufacturers in Singapore thought of me when they designed the NH35 so they installed an automatic winding mechanism 🫠 Very likely they thought something in the meaning that "sure that Martin will also want this kind of movement and since he has big eyes, he will surely cut more stem than necessary" 😀 The other unpleasantly complication is that I struggle with the strap everyday. One day I would like a black and orange NATO strap and the next day I would like a green one. Then my girlfriend tells me why I don't wear a bracelet and my world is in a collapsing dilemma. Good advise for y'all: If a specialist from an authorized dealer doesn't make that decision for you of wich bracelet or strap to wear than I must warn you in advance that you will struggle with it endlessly. But what is a match for one can be fun for another 😁

My second watch is a quartz from Triumph. It has something to do with motorbikes, but I don't know exactly what. I was looking for the gas tank on that watch, but apart from the old battery that I had to replace, I couldn't find anything else on it that would be associated with motoring. Perhaps some gear or two 😁 That is, of course, except for the danger. As they say that you have to be very careful on motorbikes in the streets of the city, you also have to be very careful with that watch so that some local gangsta doesn't steal it from you. They look magnificent 😉

Third in order, I would describe my homage, but I don't kknow to which specific brand 😳 I assumed that I wanted a watch with a moon phase. I had no idea what I'm getting into. Since the full moon gives me a headache and I can't fall a sleep now I always know when it happens. What is worse is that now I am stressing for a whole month in advance that I will have a headache bc I know the upcoming moonphase so much that I have a headache everyday 🙃 What I would draw attention to in this watch is the large oscillating rotor. It is so big that when it spins on my thin wrist it vibrates so much that the vibrations are transferred to my hand and I look like my hand is shaking. Thanks goodness they designed this watch for the left wrist because when I shake hands with someone, it's always with the right hand 😀

Next up is my newest addition to the collection. I refrain from words like perfect, admirable, magical, beautiful, attention-grabbing, relentless, awesome, persistent, reliable, excuse me, I forgot what I wanted to say 🙈😁

I'd rather move on to my gem, the PRX. Yes, you read that right. I mean exactly the magnificent Tissot PRX powermatic 80. So much criticized and praised. I have to admit that the box from that watch is not worth much. I wanted to mount it on the dashboard in my car, but it's just a paper box that doesn't stick well. I'll probably talk about it with Mr. Tissot when I happen to meet him for coffee 💤 I can't tell you anything about the watch itself because it is said to be a production secret. My guess is that when you buy a strap for it, you have the same dilemma with them as I described with Seikonaut 🤯

So I hope that you enjoyed the pictures as well as half a minute of reading entertained you and I wish you all a less parodic day 😀😉😊

PS: I'm not sure but isn't that watch stand in cover picture a little too big? 🤔😁

Nice read and watches, great watch stand, plenty of room to breathe.

That Seikomeganaut is a brilliant mix.

I think the moonphase watch is a nod to either Patek Philippe, or Vacheron Constantin. It even has a little cross... very pretty.
