I've been looking for a grab and go quartz watch and was going to pull the trigger on a speedtimer but then I stumbled on this beauty for 200 $ more (600$ but it's 750$ most of the time so it was kinda of a steal)
Accurate as a grand Seiko f9 movement
Ceramic bezel
Great build quality
Longines (duh)
Battery saving mode
Perpetual calendar
Was worried about sizing but trust me it wears better irl that photos
Overall a really underrated watch โโค๏ธ

Nice find, congrats.
Donโt they have a perpetual calendar also?
Nice find, congrats.
Thanks ๐

Yup forgot about that ๐คฃ
It's sad that they discontinued the VHP line. The watch looks so lovely.
Nice find, looks great! I've always liked the Conquest VHP line and would love to have the GMT, however 43mm is too big for me- hoping they re-release the line in smaller sizes like they have with the Spirit lineup
These are great watches and can be found for bargain prices now. Accurate to within 5 seconds per year.
I had the blue version with the blue ceramic dial. Liked the dial and the VHP complication. Mine was on the rubber strap with a โnot very niceโ clasp which I found uncomfortable. Perhaps it might have been a keeper if it had been on a bracelet.

I know right !?

It's also available in 41mm same as mine

Yeah my rule of thumb is to always get the bracelet option cus it's cheaper to get anyother material strap later

I agree it's great value for money ๐๐ป

Oh really, the white dial GMT I posted?? Might be my next watch ๐
I love it too! I was about to get it too. But was concern with my small wrist. 6.25"
I hope you have as much use out of this watch as I have had out of my Conquest VHP bought in the Harrods New Year sale 2000. It took me over a year and much hunting to purchase. In the race were, wait for it, Rolex OP and Cartier Santos, all at about the same price and available. The actual Conquest was to have been the auto but was discontinued. My purchase was an end-of-line sale at about half price. It has only stopped to change the battery and the jumping hour has been very useful. Best of luck.
Correction - More accurate than a Grand Seiko 9F movement!
Correct but there is a version of the f9 that is -/+ 5 secs at +3k $ of course ๐

Yes I normally buy a watch with a bracelet if possible. With the VHP though I donโt think hereโs too much difference in cost between the bracelet and the OEM fitted rubber strap.
Really nice. That 5 bar would worry me though.
Beautiful!

Yeah , I hear that alot ๐ but it doesn't bother me much tho
Enjoy the honeymoon, nice!

Love th3 tech on this one. The black dot on the 1 of the 12 is a photo sensor and you set it with flashes from your phone, very cool.
Great aesthetics and even better accuracy! A grab and go is a must in any collection. Congratulations Mark, wear it in good health. Merry Christmas ๐ ๐ to you and your family.

That version can take a long slow walk if it actually exists. Except for how the 9F looks it's overrated in comparison to the VHP. VHP is a class apart and doesn't try as hard as 9F! Somewhere I feel GS over hyped the 9F in their marketing that it has become the benchmark whereas there are other movements like VHP's or caliber 0100 from Citizen that should be the benchmark.
For the small wristed crew like me, there is a 36-37mm version that wears like a dream. Great GADA watch.
Mine is running around 8 seconds per year.

Yup I would have gotten this too but it's always way more expensive that the 41mm ,I guess cus it fits more people

I wouldn't call it a GADA but it's a collectible and a classic! It's a great land watch that can be worn for urban adventures!!
