What's your favorite neglected watch?

I'm not asking about watches that have fallen out of favor... on the contrary. What's a watch that you LOVE that you just don't wear all that often. This is a watch that will never go on the chopping block but you don't wear as much as you thought you would!

Suggestion... Change out the straps? Do you fall back in love? Look forward to hearing your comments on this bewildering subject. I'm guessing it's a sign maybe we have too many watches. We somehow are still on the prowl for the next one, however. Let us know, what's a watch in your collection that is near and dear... just not so near to your your wrist?

I find this question unsettling due to the implication that I or any watch lover would "neglect" one or more of their precious pieces. I do punish the bad ones however.😉

My WRUW of the day is a good example of that: https://www.watchcrunch.com/TekindusT/posts/wruw-2024-03-04-83f1b765-vnqab38d-343561

I love this Casio, it is the oldest watch I still keep from my Journey, but I don’t wear it much in a daily basis. It is more of a specialist, I wear it often while travelling for the world time capabilities, the backlight, and the ability to not attract undesired attention… but it’s far from a daily piece. Selling it is not really an option, as it is scratched and nobody would pay even close to a retail price for it. If I’m going to sell it for like 15€ I just spare myself the trouble and keep wearing it on my travels.

First I must state that any of my watches are lucky to get worn twice a month. So I don’t know, perhaps my Burcherer Patravi Evotech Day Date. Love that watch but it gets little wrist time.

This one lately:

I haven't been wearing it much since I picked up a new daily 4 or 5 months ago and will be wearing it even less since I picked up what I 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 would be an occasional wear dressy sports watch a few weeks back, but that's turned out to be a really good daily too.

Don't wanna sell it though, I love it and won't be able to replace it easily. Think I'll experiment with using at as my dress watch.

Mine is a $60 mechanical Dirty Dozen homage. It's a great looking watch for the money, but I just don't wear it that much anymore.

I regret not getting it with a sterile dial. Don't really like the logo on it.

My GA-B2100 Casioak- it gets neglected in the winter since I usually wear it cycling outdoors, or on vacation . Soon it will see more wrist time 👍🚴‍♂️

For me it’s my Seiko SPB151 Willard. At one point I only had 3 watches and the Willard got worn every single day for about a year. It’s also the one that’s been with me the longest. Don’t wear it too often anymore but it always feels like an old friend when I pop it on the wrist.

I absolutely adore this Avia:
