That raised bezel, I guess is for gloved hands? My milspec diver is designed with a raised bezel as well. Maybe that’s a requirement for these watches?
Funny I had no idea what CWC was until I watched “The Diplomat” on Netflix just this week. And, now, here one is “in the wild”.
One of the show’s main characters, Hal Wyler, played by Rufus Sewel, wears, what I think is, CWC’s W10 reproduction. An aviation watch.
I take your point, and, I admit, my quip was a bit of cheap what-about-ism with W. and all. Still…
I guess that if OP is unironically wearing the visage of Mao on their wrist, I’m just gonna assume that they, like the current Chinese Commmunist Party, repudiate the cultural revolution and the great leaps forward, but, in the same breaths though, acknowledge the role Mao had in helping to eject imperial Japan, ending the warring states period, ending foreign intervention with Chinese affairs (remember the opium wars?) and founding the modern Chinese state under (very) arguable socialist principles.
I’d say, OP can go ahead and rock Mao all they want. Personally not for me but, who am I?
Trying the zero pass on a khaki field here too. Put it on last week. No complaints really. It’s a bit fussy to set up, put on, and take off, but otherwise sits well on a wrist.
