Sinn Adjustable Clasp Review

Well, I did it. I decided to get Sinn's new adjustable clasp for my 104. Watchbuys just listed the clasps separately and it promptly arrived yesterday.

I can actually say now that this bracelet fits me perfectly. I have never been able to get a good fit with the old bent metal clasp and the micro adjust system works well.

The clasp is quite a bit longer, but still fits fine in my 6.5" wrist. And it opens wider than the original, so I can get my hand in and out without much effort. This was a concern of mine since I always needed to open the dive extension to get the old clasp on.

I decided to get the clasp only because the resale value of used bracelets is lower than recouping the value of the original bracelet and buying a complete new bracelet.

Overall, the quality is what you would expect from Sinn, and I think what many of us hoped would be included with the watch. The heft and sturdiness matches the watch and h-links bracelet well. And the locking catche is secure and smooth, probably the best feeling quick adjust clasp I have ever handled.

I would recommend it if you haven't been satisfied with your Sinn bracelet in the past. I'm grateful for companies like Sinn listening to customers and over delivering on the execution. Yes, it's expensive, but so are all their products. All I know is that I'll be wearing my 104 on a bracelet much more now.

#tudor do you see this?

Just ordered mine for the 105! Sick of loose in the morning and tight by the end of the day.

·

Great to know!

My EZM3’s bracelet sits in a drawer forever as it never fits, replaced with a NATO. I’ll see if it works for EZM3 too.

Bout time.

Looks great. 👌🏻🔥

And now I have to reshuffle my tool watches to look for used 😂😆!

Good to know! I always wear my 556 on a nato but I like the H link style bracelet that came with it.

·

Looks great!!!…wish they had it in black.

I wanna get the bracelet for my 556 but it doesn’t come with the adjustable clasp. Wonder if I could get the bracelet and then this clasp separately

I think the only reason right now that they don't sell this for the 556 is that there isn't one made with the same all brushed finishing as the 556's h-links bracelet. You could get the clasp for the 104 and then brush the two center links. The clasp is also fairly large, and that might make it visually off-balance with the smaller 556.

had a U2 several years ago. only 2 things made me to sell it. the 44mm case (never bought a watch bigger than 42mm after) AND the clasp.

the 104.012(white dial) is on my lust for some time. with this clasp it went some positions up 👀 🙈😂

thanks for sharing your experiences

Oh good point about the visual imbalance due to the size. This clasp might indeed look weird on a 38mm watch. I guess I’ll wait for Sinn to release something then.

The clasp itself looks brushed, which means that in theory I could just buy the clasp and attach it. Other option is carrying a SIM card tool around and adjusting the 556 bracelet that way all the time which is what I do.

I had a CW 36mm Sealander with quite a long clasp on the bracelet. Never was an 😉issue for me.

Yes it is, but there are fixed center links attached to the clasp that interface to the bracelet are polished. If that doesn't bother you then I don't see how it wouldn't work.

This looks really good on your #sinn 104! Cheers 🍻
