My cozy 4-watch Timefactors collection. I've been working on assembling it for the past couple of months. The theme of this collection is homage tool...
I have been fortunate, no doubt. However, I should add that it depends on the popularity of the watches on offer. When the Trans-global went up for sale the shop was open for like 10 minutes and the only one that sold out was the Aventurine model. The Mission Timer and Dreadnought likewise were up for several minutes, plenty of time. When I got the Everest Expedition, that's the one time I got scared, shop closed in less than a minute for that one. The Everest models are definitely the hardest to get.

Yeah, I can see how that would be frustrating.
I hope you come to enjoy your watch. You went on a tough and challenging journey to obtain it! An experience like that would've made me happier to wear it. I thought your bad experience was due to something more sinister.

Not to open old wounds, but I tried going over you older posts to see if you talked about what happened, but didn't find anything. I'm curious what happened? I recently purchased the new Smiths Trans-Global from TF, had it in hand 3 days after purchasing. Beautiful watch, nice case. I am looking at the Everest Gilt as my next timefactors purchase.
Timefactors uses the "Smiths" acquired brand to grab some cash making us to fool ourselves into the thin as air connection with the original Great Britain made legendary watches.
I've yet to see evidence of Eddie trying to "fool" people into buying his watches just to make a quick buck by using the Smiths brand. If anything, he is more honest. There is no "emotional" story about how "we are making a comeback" or anything that makes it seem like HE is the Smiths company and how it's all connected to the original heritage company. His company is Timefactors and he produces Smiths-branded watches and to the surprise of no one, the 1016 homage watches happen to be his hottest-selling items. The whole website from which you purchase the watches is branded Timefactors and Smiths is just one of several brands listed there, how could you possibly have "fell for it"??
