SOTC: Timefactors edition

My cozy 4-watch Timefactors collection. I've been working on assembling it for the past couple of months. The theme of this collection is homage tool watches. All have at least 100m of water resistance (with screw-down crowns) and magnetic resistance to 20,000 A/m (250 gauss).

Precista Mission Timer: Use it daily at work. ETA quartz movement, always ready to pick up and go. The black DLC coating is insanely durable, I swear it still looks brand new. The best feature is the center minutes chronograph hand. Extremely legible. Use it all the time. Design based on Sinn NaBo 17 cockpit clock.

Baby Dreadnought: 300m WR. It's my casual, running errands everyday watch. Absolutely love the dial and handset. This watch is not really an homage, but it sort of looks like a baby Ploprof and that's really damn cool.

Smiths Everest Expedition: My outdoors activities field watch. I really dig the historical significance of the original Smiths A454 this watch is based on.

Smiths Trans-global: Has the specs of a tool watch, but fulfills the role of dress watch in the collection. The UG Polerouter is such an amazingly cool and unique design. As Caseback Tim once said, the best vintage watch is a brand new vintage watch.

I might in the future decide to expand the collection to 6 pieces. There's some really interesting stuff coming later this year, from what I hear.

The Precista mission timer is very interesting. You obviously have a fast finger as most of the posts I read about buying from the Time factors web site are not possitive . So congratulations on your growing collection of their pieces.

I have been fortunate, no doubt. However, I should add that it depends on the popularity of the watches on offer. When the Trans-global went up for sale the shop was open for like 10 minutes and the only one that sold out was the Aventurine model. The Mission Timer and Dreadnought likewise were up for several minutes, plenty of time. When I got the Everest Expedition, that's the one time I got scared, shop closed in less than a minute for that one. The Everest models are definitely the hardest to get.

I’ve bought 2 times at timefactors, both times I’ve used time.it to make sure I don’t miss a second to complete my purchase (literally, sometimes the store is closed again within 30secinds after the opening). With that I’ve bought a polar baby dreadnought and the dreadnought voyager. Plan it, have your paying information copied in your computer so you don’t lose time typing. I have plans on aquiring other pieces from them, and I’ll be doing this same plan!
