I posted here several weeks ago that my old beloved Tissot Le Locle had started keeping time poorly and making a banging noise when I moved. I feared an untimely death!
On the recommendation of the members of this awesome community, I dropped it off at my watch makers shop. A rotor replacement, full service, regulation, and polishing later, I picked it up today. Looks amazing and keeping wonderful time!
Could I have bought an identical used model from eBay for just a few more bucks and just replaced it? Sure. Would it have the marks, scratches and memories of mine? Nope!
Glad to have my old friend back in rotation!

Gorgeous watch! Glad that you got your old friend back in fine shape😎
A new watch costs around $700
A refurbished old friend PRICELESS
I love mine!
Oh, wait a minute...
