So, I know bronze watches have been popular for a few years now. And a big part of the charm is fact they acquire a “patina” rather quickly over time....
I feel same way that the case is a bit big. Mostly it’s just too thick. I have an SKX013, but I think that’s a bit too small. I think it’s more like 37mm and wears small for a diver. I thought the new smaller 5kx versions are basically same case size, but not sure.
Really, I think Seiko should make a 39-40mm diver. There’s a solar one that kind of fits bill, but they seem to never quite hit that sweet spot that sonething like a Black Bay 58 hits.
Great collection, similar taste to my own. I’d prob recommend a Seiko diver of some sort, so many to choose from that you could have fun trying to find one. But really you have most of your bases covered right now!
Btw, I never had a Brew but I didn’t realize how big it was. Looks very large when placed next to other watches.
I looked into red dial watches awhile back and realized they are surprisingly rare. Not quite sure why, since you’d think red would be a popular color. The most interesting one I found was this Seiko SNKM95, which I think was an exclusive to Amazon a number of years ago. Sadly it’s really hard to find now and, if you do, really expensive compared to its original cheap price.
Purposefully stop looking and trying to figure it out, and I bet in a week the answer will just naturally come to you. If not, you really don’t want a new watch!
