Movement of Note

When adjusting the date on this Timex (obviously incorrectly) I noticed the hour hand move like a traveller’s GMT, even though there is no second time zone. To adjust the date, the first position on the stem moves the hour hand alone. This is one of the indigo watches I wear to bed, so I’ve not been attentive to the date complication.

The chronograph hand looks off too. Maybe try zeroing it?

Unfortunately, many chronographs are. I may have the hand reset some day or. If I feel steady enough to do hand removal, do it myself.

Nice piece Karl. I have some that do that too. I also have one that when you move the hour hand counter clockwise the date adjusts by continuing to scroll. It scrolls to a different date every minute not after every 24 hours. Timex have some unique features on different models. They make a good quality watch.
