New watch for under 4000 USD

Hello, I am looking for a watch under $4000 USD. My wrist is on the smaller end, so about 38 mm, and i am interested in classics and also divers, and the sportier ones. As for an example something like the Tudor Ranger, I am not sure if i am ready for a Cartier Tank or Santos yet but be sure to let me know your opinions, and ask any question you want.

That is what i am planing to do the next time I go to the US

Stick with the tudor idea, best of the bunch…nothing i make will float your boat im sure but also look at some of the classic pilot watches like hanilton etc….plenty of scope with your budget…

Have you considered the Tudor BB58? At 39mm, it's a sporty diver based on the look of the classic Submariner, but with its own identity.

The Black Bay 36 gets slept on a lot since the 58 sort of became the face of the brand. I think it's a nice alternative to even an Explorer, and it'd be easier and cheaper to maintain in the long run.

King Seiko - funny enough mentioned this in another persons 38mm search. Can also look at the variants of the Alpinist that are in that same 38mm range.

Tag makes a Carrera at 39mm that has some Aquaterra-esque vibes.

Tudor’s BB36 if 38 is a hard limit.

Oris makes the 65 and the Aquis under 38mm.

Hamilton Murph 38 that was just released or there mechanical Khaki Pilot.

Nomos Club/Orion under 38mm

Sinn 556 - 38.5mm

I love my BB58 but the Ranger's T Fit clasp gets it a lot more time on my wrist.

Hamilton's are solid choice. You could get a Khaki Field auto and then go out and buy another two watches. Or let that scratch the itch and start saving for a Cartier.

Thank you a lot, this seems to be a popular choice.

I am currently unemployed and the $4000 is part of my grandpas will that he left me, and I figured that it would be a beautiful choice to buy a watch in rememberence of him. The watch will definitely have more sentimental value than money can ever buy. Thank you for the amazing choices.

Ranger and Grandpa. Both words share the same first 4 letters. That's a good enough reason for me.

Exactly, Tudor seems the best brand for this price range and for the style i am going for. Next is to try them on in store, see if they call my name. A see from there. Thanks a lot TimeCop
