Having a look at my "collection" so far I would assume dive watches would be a save bet to survive on ... unless you throw in a zombie apocalypse- than it's a solar G-Shock for sure....😜🤣
I woud be all over that .... maybe we should pitch the idea to them...hahaha Ill be fine with a NH35 if I get it for under 500...😂
What I ment was, that I like the Formex Essence as it would fall under the "midlevel" range ( 500 - 1500 bucks) but that I will only stay in the lower entry level and only buying watches for under 500 EUR for now....
my apologies if my comment looked like I know a way to get an Essence for under 500 (I wish)
I wonder where the "bodycount" stands now? Awesome watch, a bit out of reach therefore I only ordered the Steeldive Hommage on their 11.11. sale ... made me want the real deal even more... 🙄
My two cents worth of an opinion..... Marketing, perceived image (you must be successful/rich to own one) possibly artificial scarcity to keep/increase the demand (we want the things we cant have even more)
Im not a fanboy or hater of the "Crown" I would like and GMT Master 2 pepsi on jubilee as much as the next oke but only at retail which is already kinda overpriced for what you actually get.
There are plenty of Brands and styles in that price range. The swatch group has a good coverage in that price range with Hamilton, Certina, Tissot, Mido and some of the Longines.
I personally like the Formex Essence which falls as well into this price range but most likely wil remain in the way under 500 bucks range
