Stiff bezel issue

I love my Seamaster but the bezel has always been very stiff. Everytime I wear it, I spin it a few times and it loosens a bit but I've never been very happy with the action. I have a Duro that has a lot of play, but spins nicely. My recent Promaster Divers bezel is a dream...anybody have a suggestion to improve the bezel action?

Omegas are not known for great bezel action.

Start with the simple things like leave your watch inside of hot water mixed with dish soap. Many times it loosen the dirt inside the bezel. while soaking the watch spin the bezel to get rid of dirt or use a tooth brush to wash the hard to reach areas. If that doesn't work then you need a replacement bezel spring.

My SM300 heritage was serviced recently and the bezel action is dire (moves very easily) .... It's a "feature" of Omega that their bezels just can't match a Seiko at a quarter of the price 🙄

Legendary watch, ask Ray Donovan. Unfortunately for this model I’m still not sold on the helium valve wart for a desk diver. Sorry

I have had same problem with a few dive watch’s including my sea master and the cure has always been to while showering keep twisting the bezel while washing it with soap might take a few showers but should free up

Remember to rince the whole watch well so you don’t build up soap residue
