Help identifying a watch.

It's not often that my wife sees a watch she likes in a catalog, but when she saw this one she said..."oooo, why isn't this in your collection". Can anyone help identify what this watch is?

Not 100% sure but looks like an old tag link

The photo processing on both those pictures is super weird but it is almost certainly a Tag Heuer S/EL from the 90s.

Interesting. I thought it was a TAG.

Thank you!!!!

Is that Jerry Springer? RIP. In honor of him, I will need that watch to take a paternity test to know for sure.

Ha! Yes. He actually lived in my building and was my neighbor!

If you are going to try to get one, I would recommend looking for a solid stainless steel and not a two-tone or gold. The applied gold from that era and earlier tends to peel after several years, so many of them from the 80's and 90's don't look that great, especially on the bands.

Great advice. Thank you

I have the stainless one. Had it since 1998. Chrono24 prices it at $425 if that’s helpful info. I’d sell it to you but it was a gift.

You sure it was him or his long lost twin brother from another mother?

It my wife was to say the same about any Watch I would consider that a hall pass and have to get it no matter what the Watch is lmao.

Lmao. Which is much of the reason I am here. I just showed her 3 fantastic watches I tried on at Watches of Switzerland in heathrow. 1) 2tone rolex explorer 36mm (yes available for purchase at retail) "that just looks ugly...2) breitling premier pistachio dial "uh, if you want to look like a really old man", 3) new tissot prx white dial and white rubber strap "are you sure that's not a woman's watch"....

Looks like a mashup to me:

(Except that the 3084 has arabic numerals instead of bar indices.)

But the case and dial from the first one doesn't look like the picture you posted.

So maybe this one:

...Or something like it.
