I got my wife a Datejust 31 with diamond hour markers 14 years ago as a ‘push present’ for the birth of our kids. She wore every day to work but wasn’t a ‘watch’ person. She got out of the habit of wearing it during Covid when she worked from home.
This September I gave her the Studio Underd0g Watermelon for her birthday. She likes it, thinks it’s fun and wears it on occasion.
She mentioned a few times this year of wanting a more sporty watch. She’d try to wear my Moonwatch or other divers on a NATO but they are too big.
I gave her the BB54 on Thanksgiving and I’m not sure she’s taken it off since. She absolutely loves everything about it.
I’m not sure she wants more watches given her 3-watch collection, but she feels she’s got all scenarios covered (and wonders why I can’t be the same 😀)
