MODDING HELP!
Hey everyone, I am trying to get some new hands set on my watch but I am struggling... I have done this before so I'm not sure why this one is giving me issues.
My hour hand is good, but my minute hand seems loose, it will work with the hour hand but doesn't seem right?
I haven't got the second hand to work and I am thinking it is because the minute hand isn't on correctly.
Any #help would be appreciated!

Do the hands have the correct / corresponding diameters for the movement?
The gap between the hour hand and the minute hand is definitely not right. If you can't push it any further without too much force, it might be a compatibility issue between the diameters of the hand and the movement.
I had this problem before and unfortunately, at times you’re just handed a bad hand (no pun intended)… I usually try to order two sets of parts just in case these things happen…

I had a similar experience. If you are willing to destroy a hand, which does not seem to work anyway, try using a small sewing needle and try to broach that hand a little bit. Again, this is dangerous, as you can make the hole too big. I tried it two times. Once it worked and once I had to throw out that hand.

Thanks for the help! I'm still having some issues, now mostly the second hand 😵... Starting to think maybe this isn't the hobby for me 😭

I would step away from the project for an hour or two and come back fresh… at times I get frustrated and nothing works and fits… and two hours or even a day after … everything clicks … give it time … have a beer 🍻

Don't give up. Get away from it, do something else for a few days, relax. Then try again. Maybe try another set of hands.
I ran into a problem last week with my NH34 build. The hands that I ordered were too big for the case. The second hand would touch the crystal and not move. I have a bigger case, but the dial is too small for it. My case requires 35mm dial, but my GMT dial is only 31 mm. So, this time, I carefully measured the sizes of hands that would work and ordered another set of hands to try. This makes me take a break until those get here from China.
Unfortunately we learn more from our failures than from our successes. So, just consider this as a learning experience.
