That bit of red on the 911 sways me.
I like the 41mm sizing and better lume plots on the 911, but wish it had an all black or all gray bezel… and I’m also a sucker for a splash of red.
I picked the 813 over the 911. I am not a fan of the red hands, but it was mainly because I prefer the shape and color of the 813’s bezel.
813 for me, the inbalanced colour on the tachymeter on 911 lost me.
813 ✅
813 is the way I went. Smaller chronos are harder to come by these days, but more in line with the 60's design it's referencing.
Thinner bezel is better
I had the 39mm but sold it. I’d get the 41 if I were you for the slightly larger register at 6.
Are you familiar with the sub dials looking purple rather than black in some lighting conditions ? I wasn’t and that was one of the several reasons I sold it.
813 looks better to me.
I bought the 911. I like the polished hands and the touch of red better. Also, the lume is a lot better.

It's the 813 bezel vs the 911 handset that made it hard for me choose.
A friend offered me the 813 and by the time I was done researching these same two options over a long weekend he sold it to someone more decisive.

That's good to know about the lume. One more factor leaning in favor of the 911 though I do prefer the 813 bezel.

The bezel is the same case for me that’s what set me on it my gf actually says she’s going to get it for me for a birthday gift so I’ll post on June 12
