Which Omega should I buy?

I would like to buy my first Omega watch! I am debating between the Seamaster 300M in white dial and Aqua Terra Small seconds. Any advice!!!

I got the Seamaster 300M -- exact model that you are considering.  I think it really comes down to what type of watch you are looking for.  The Aqua Terra is a bit more dressy and the 300M to me is so clean, crisp and I was drawn to it immediately.  I absolutely love the watch but everyone is different.  Good luck!

Thanks mate for your comments! The watch looks amazing on you! I am drawn to the 300M till I saw few reviews about the AT. I need to revisit the Omega store and see it in person. I have the Tudor black bay GMT which I love and I am wondering if the 300M will be similar style. Cheers

·

I would say to go for variety.  If you already have a diver in the BB GMT, why not change things up and go with something dressier?

·

That’s tough but of the three the I am Most personally drawn to the small seconds AT in grey, it just looks like a strap monster. 💪 Good luck with your decision - can‘t make the wrong call no matter which one you pick 🤙

·

I'd say try both, and probably buy the one that will fit your current collection. For me, I recently got the 38mm Aqua Terra as a milestone watch because I already have 3 divers and wanted something a little bit more classy and versatile.

The Omega SMP by a country mile.  I own both the SMP and the BB GMT--they wear pretty similar, although the GMT sits a little higher.

·

Small Seconds is 🔥

·

You've already got the five capable Tudor. I'd mix things up and give yourself a much versatility as possible and go with the AT small seconds.

·

It is hard for me to offer an opinion without knowing what else is in your collection.  If it your first watch, I would say Aqua Terra.  I think it is just more versatile.

·

Aqua terra is better than the Seamaster, purely because you have the Tudor get a more versatile watch in the Aqua Terra.

·

Thank you mate for your comment! indeed need to pay a visit to omega boutique and try them both! Cheers

I am new into the luxury watches. The Tudor GMT was my first watch and Omega will be my second!

Is it for you or is it an investment?

I tend to ask myself that when looking at watches because I often find that my tastes are always away from the models that hold their value.

If it’s for you personally then always worth trying them all and see what you feel is right.

I tried on a few Speedmasters and went against the grain getting the professional man of the moon and opted of the Racing panda version as it just felt right to me.

If it’s for value then I’d say it’s worth go for the Seamaster Professional.

I had this same debate. kept going into an Omega boutique and trying them on.  I ultimately went with a speedmaster on a last second whim lol but if I were to go with one of the two I would’ve gotten the aqua terra. Either way Omega makes top quality pieces. You can’t go wrong

Awesome, whatever you decide it’ll be an amazing watch.  Enjoy the day!

I checked out the AT small Second only yesterday, I personally like the small second while on the other hand I dont fancy too sporty looks. Unfortunately though, 41mm simply does not suit me, so I endend up with the AT 39mm (w/o small second) but still think it’s beautiful.

Congrats mate on your purchase! wear it in good health

·

Think about what you're going to be wearing it for. Imo, the AT small second would be the more versatile of the two, especially dressed up. If you need a rougher wear, the SMP. Looks like you have a Tudor GMT, so either of these could fulfill a role that watch won't. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Good luck!

I love all of them, can imagine why the struggle. But if i must only pick one out of them, i would most likely pick the aqua terra with the grey indices simply for versatility and slightly more low key, fan of low profile luxury here🙌🏼
