After watching that watch chit~chat between John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, I just couldn’t resist it and ordered Ed’s yellow G-Shock DW6900. I’m such a sucker for these things. Not sure if it’s a Good Buy or a Good Bye $$. Whatever it is, I like it or do I? …Can someone please help cure my MHIIWBS (marketing hype influenced impulse watch buying syndrome)

I have the same syndrome. How long does it take for you to pull the trigger? I mean you don't just buy the watch in the first 10 minutes you've seen it on social media, do you? Your spend some time reading about it, watching some yt "reviews", etc, right?

Yeah, first ten minute I would have subconsciously decided that I want it. The rest of the research time would just be trying to verify my decision earlier. 😬

Yeah, just verifying that my decision is the right one to take, basically visiting a bunch of echo chambers to have a sense of "other people like it too, so it can't be that bad of a decision", after all, I've made an educated decision by binge watching all YouTube has to offer on this exact model, so it's not THAT impulsive.
Sorry, can't help you there. I just bought a Casio Mission Impossible, a Wise GMT Adamascus, a Seiko Alpinist GMT and to my shame and weakness, a Zelos Swordfish Field and am now trying to NOT buy a Dievas Maya Pro...
