The family watch
I was gifted a 1998 Seamaster back in 2000, which turned my interest in watches into a slight obsession. Various versions of the SMP adorn the wrists of a number of family members at this point, and it somehow became the family watch over the last 25 years. Last year, my favorite pusher made the first Summer Blue version they got available to me, and it was on my wrist faster than James Bond can get a date. I have lots of blue dial watches but this one's something else.

My first serious watch was an Omega Seamaster circa early 60s present from my parents when I started middle school. Sadly that adored token was stolen from a locker when my older daughter wore the watch to a swim meet a million years ago. Since then Breitling watches have become the extended family brand particularly the Chronomat dating from the late 80s. I continue to support the brand expect my Breitlings will be passed along to my daughters, a grand daughter and even to a son in law unless he pisses off my fierce wife who will call the shots.
I love this watch too! I have a bit of an #omega crush!
