About Going 3 Interested 2

Join us at Bucherer's amazing boutique in the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden for an evening exploring their Certified Pre-Owned watch business. These are the watches they buy, authenticate, service and put on sale.

You'll get the chance to see items from their inventory, learn more about how their pre-owned business works, and understand what it is that the new Rolex partnership program offers to buyers.

There will be two short talks to help you learn more, as well as wonderful hospitality from the boutique staff and Bucherer's experts in pre-owned timepieces. There will of course be a wide range of watches to explore and try on.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about buying pre-owned, how authentication and servicing works at reputable retailers like Bucherer, and explore the types of watch they stock. Please register here or on our website.

Sorry but officially buying a pre owned watch from Rolex at above retail is not something I'm interested in!

Can't go there that's the one I got kicked out of 😂

"Yadda yadda market forces..."

It just feels weird for a brand to sell used product above new retail.

"Yadda yadda market forces..."

It just feels weird for a brand to sell used product above new retail.

I wonder how much a mark up getting the CPO certificate will add.  For example, the regular Tourneau (now owned by Bucherer) but not Rolex CPO certificate online price for a Pepsi from 2000 is $17,500 (not that I've been on the waitlist for one for 3+ years or anything).  Will the Rolex CPO be much more?

I saw an article which got me looking at what the secondary pricing was for the Pepsi/ Batman GMTs. Apparently, the Fountainebleau hotel is offering a Macallan limited edition tasting for $25k and each tasting comes with a brand new BLNR Batman. I wonder if an AD is associated with this promotion or if they source the BLNRs new from an AD and then offer them as new for people who pay for the tasting.

Rolex don't have anything to do with the prices, it's Bucherer who buy, service and resell the stock. The reason to hold the event is to clear up details like this. Rolex will expand the program and different ADs who run it will all set their own prices. Rolex won't have anything to do with pricing for this stuff, never have and don't need to. They will simply keep the RRP for the new watches.

Gosh that's a strange combo. Only in Miami! There is no way either brand has given an OK for that! Rolex CPO prices at Bucherer are currently very high, yes. Time will tell if they stay that way given that many places sell fully serviced Pre-owned Rolexes just without the certificate.

You'd be buying the watch from Bucherer, not Rolex, but I understand your point!

$25k for a drink and a Batman.  The world is a crazy place.
