Decisions decisions...

So, after my first post displaying my core collection, I've been overwhelmed by the compliments I've received. A big thank you, but it's got me thinking... Everyone's telling me how rounded out it is and that I've "got all the bases covered" so now I'm wondering... What should I add next? I've come up with a few choices based off what you guys said and my own feelings. If you don't like these choices or want to expand on the discussion drop your answer down in the comments 👇🏻

You should include a pic of your collection to remind us.

Solid microbrand tool watch.

Too many to list, go wild. Lots of UK brands too, there's another thread going on with TONS of UK options.

·

I looked it up. You have:

  • Daily - PRX

  • Dress - Baltic

  • Drive - Seagull

  • Dive - Seamaster

  • Field - don’t know the brand

  • Flight - GMT Master II

  • Beater - G-Shock

That’s the Arch of the Covenant collection of tool Watch archetype.

The only thing you could conceivably add would be an Engineers watch.

I would consider stretching the budget and getting a grail.

Wow, I've just voted and it's showing 25% for all four options... interested to see how this plays out!

I'd get a pilot or chronograph. Something different from what you have so you can keep the variety going.

·

You can never have too many divers

He’s got a pilot and a chronograph.

·

@halfgreekleo you could consider a panda dial. Examples of all ranges would be: Orient neo 70 (low entry tier), Hamilton intramatic (mid tier), Carl F. Bucherer heritage bicompax (high tier)

Oh! My bad. He should've posted a pic. 😂 My bad again. I shouldn't looked it up. Sorry.

He has the god tier GMT

·

It’s THE pilot watch. It was designed specifically for TWA pilots.

No offense really, just throwing in some food for thought: if you are unsure what type of watch to add to your collection, why do you think you have to do it? Never forget to enjoy what you already have - and you will surely know when it's time for a new watch; it will jump by itself right in front of you.

Cheers!

I voted for upmarket versions but it’s so hard to stay away from DIVERS (personally)!

·

Keep the Seamaster, GMT and G-Shock,sell the rest and get an Aqua Terra. That'd be a pretty perfect collection imho.

Forget the "box ticking" mentality!!

·

Id say add a splash of color. Steel watch w/ a yellow or green dial.

Citizen Tsuyosa style

I would suggest a quality Japanese watch - Grand Seiko (automatic or quartz) or Citizen the Citizen (solar HAQ) - to compare and complement your Swiss watches.
