Review

These GA-2100 series G-Shocks have quickly become a go-to choice for beater watches for enthusiasts.

From a styling perspective this line of G-Shocks have taken the design language for the brand forward by taking the classic G-Shock hallmarks such as the bold G-Shock logo and pusher functions surrounding the dial and blending this look with Gerald Genta-esque traits like the Octagonal case shape. This is what has led to the these watches being lovingly termed as a "Casioak" by enthusiasts in reference to the progenitor of this design language, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

This particular yellow reference is less versatile than the rest of the lineup as the yellow is such a bold statement, but if you are looking for a watch to take on adventures, use for sports or just for fun summertime duties then it's a real winner. It wears well for an ani-digi G-Shock as it's a bit thinner than you might expect given the specs and the resin strap dives away from the lugs quite quickly. Overall, for the price they charge it's real winner in my book!

Fair review. I could never pull the trigger on a yellow one, just a little too bright 😎.

If you're gonna go big. You may as well go bold.

Yellow works for me 💛

Yeah, I love the look of this, but I could never pull it off. Same thing with an all white one. 😑

I have the yellow one and I love it, I work in IT where I'm pretty much dress down all the time and it's cool. I did have a phase of Ice-Watches years ago when working in finance in the city and I couldn't afford the watch games played by the high rollers so made my own rules LOL.
