It's the main color of life on our beautiful earth. Trees. Plants. Grass. Insects. Animals. It clothes the countryside. It brightens up our cities, towns, offices, malls, stores, and cafes. It brings life to our homes and rooms.

A handful of us Crunchers -- @rodeenski @Ichibunz @catfancy @DigitalDivider @thekris @Davidsloan @JaeBust recognized this. We decided to designate Fridays as #greenfridays #verdeviernes #greendialday on WRUW, wearing our cool watches simultaneously. For a little over a year now, a good number have joined in every Friday.
Today, we still don't see #greendial watches as just another "flash in the pan" trend. We believe that #green watches are here to stay. They indeed make our day fresh, bright, and full of life.

On a vintage style Speidel Twist-O-Flex band because they just seem to go together so well.

Cool pairings, monsieur. CNS Watchbands do offer a ton of really cool straps. I did a separate post for field watches, showing my Columbia Field CL-1312 with an #olivegreendial. It would be great if you could add a few more of your suggestions there too with your venerable Seiko Alpinist. 🍻

How's the quality of the benyar? I'm curious about the fit and finish. Really nice green color.
The Benyar has the following dimensions: 39.6mm diameter | 48.7mm LTL | 11.8mm thickness | 20mm lug width. For my 6.25-inch wrist, it's a tad out of my sweet spot. But, because its lugs curve slightly downward, it makes a bracelet or strap fit well on my wrist, as shown on 2 shots above. Here are a few more...
I got the Benyar last Nov 2021 on sale for only $35. It has an ST6 movement which has been running with an average of approx. -10 secs/day. The stainless steel case has some heft to it, but its polish seems to be more plated than machined. It's original bracelet is robust with some heft too.
I had it checked after 6 months (April 2022) and it was just given some oil. Then last Nov 2022, I had it checked because I saw some moisture under the crystal. The watchmaker found no damage to the movement, cleaned the crystal, put a new rubber gasket in the crown, and sealed the display case back with silicone. It's still doing well to this day.
Its #greendial is even more charming seen with the naked eye. 😉

What are its dimensions? The bracelet looks like an oyster style with polished side links, and a tad wider brushed middle link.

I particularly like the H-link on the Citizen Chronograph, and the sailcloth on the Fifty Fathoms, as these will look good on my Benyar and diver respectively. Thanks for sharing!
