Tudor Boutique in Glasgow Scotland

Just wanted to give some praise to the Tudor boutique on Buchanan St. in Glasgow Scotland. I stopped in with my 13 year old son, and they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They insisted on showing us anything we wanted, including letting my son try on the Black Bay 58 blue, along with the Black Bay 54 and Pro, and gave my son brochures to take home. They seemed to really appreciate watches, even taking notice of my son's Seiko 5, and talking about various Seikos with us for a while.

Anyway, a completely positive experience, that was very different from any of the several other watch stores we visited in the UK. Now my son says his favorite watch brand is Tudor, and he's talking about wanting to save up for a BB58. 😮

I’m happy to hear the experience was a good one.

Love that you were able to have this experience with your son! It’s awesome when salespeople in an AD are watch people first!

As it should be…

Love this . . . too many boutique staff have been trained to treat prospective customers like complete shit . . . of course I live in America, so . . . ya know . . . the sample to draw from esp. in certain cities is sometimes kind of filled with jackasses already.

That’s absolutely wonderful to hear…the best brand ambassadors are the sales associates, although it’s more the exception than the norm 🤙❤️

That’s awesome

That's the proof:

Tudor doesn't has Two Doors.

Providing a good experience is invaluable for getting and keeping customers.

Hi-Fi is very alike horology and you can find nice approachable enthusiasts just as you can encounter snobs and customer hostile jerks that will ruin for you a brand reputation. I experienced both sides of the scale, which is why my amplifiers are from Anthem and my speakers are not made by B&W.

This is how you build a good reputation, create positive relationships with customers and build the interest (and trust) of the next generation of watch enthusiasts…just for being respectful to clients. I wish all AD experiences would be more like yours at Tudor. Watch snobbery at AD’s gotta go. Watch buying should be fun.

I couldn't agree more. Two months I walked in my Tudor boutique in Atlanta Georgia and I was wearing a Seiko ssk005. I was just curious and wasn't going to buy yet. The man in the shop instantly knew the watch and wanted to show me everything. You definitely can tell if someone has the same hobby as you and Tudor is pretty good about getting actual watch enthusiasts.

Love to hear proper experiences!
