I enjoy watching my bronze cased watches gradually develop a patina exclusive to each one. Natural patina only and no starting over. I prefer to let them do their own thing.
Bronze is beautiful... especially naturally aged. Some folks are serious chemists and can make amazing subtle shades, but others are like Dr. Frankenstein and make a crusty mess! Just say not to over-crust! haha
I love my Oris Divers Bico. It aged so well. However the bracelet inner side is also getting patina, which leads to dying my wrist on sweaty summer days. So it’s more a not-summer watch :)
so keep that in mind if you consider bronze bracelet watches!

The bracelet issue is the first thing I wondered about when that model was introduced.
There's a reason why most bronze cased watches have steel case backs.
The only bronze watch I have is my Zelos Swordfish. I've had it for over 2 years, and it hasn't really shown much patina.
That's odd. Do you know what kind of bronze it is? Aluminum bronze has a more subtle patina than the CuSn 8 (6) bronze. Are you in a low humidity climate?

According to the Zelos web site, it has a "CUSN8 Marine Bronze" case.
It does have some patina, but it's very even, and doesn't look as "severe" as other bronze watches I've seen in person. FWIW, I do live in an area with relatively low humidity, especially in the winter.

Still looks nice though.
Nice watches! I am also in love with bronze, below is my Tudor Black Bay Bronze which I cannot stop staring at!
Have you noticed any discoloration on your wrist? Ive seen guys wear those brass bracelets for golf and notice a greenish mark left from the metal.
Bronze is the new black.
Or something like that.

All of mine have steel case backs. Any skin contact with the case is incidental.
I wear them in all diferent temps and and never turned green.

The Glycine Combat bronze has been my favorite so far. Have owned one and have no idea why I got rid of it.
