VAER C3 Korean War Field Watch
Simple set it and forget it 36mm watch with neat details. Just wish the lugs were 18mm for better proportions but wear great on an aftermarket horween strap.

I wish I had this dial instead of the stupid 3-6-9 one. Their choice of a stark white second hand over fauxtina is as perplexing here as on mine. The lug width is indeed a bit wide and it's clear that they wanted interchangeability with the 40mm units.
I have this watch. Bought in memory of my father who went through the Korean war. It wears so well on the wrist.
I just got the new release of this watch and it's awesome! It's got a solar movement now and the case back engraving has been upgraded. 👍🏽

The 18mm vs. 20mm lug debate for our 36mm watches was a big one, but ultimately we went 20mm for the sake of maintaining strap compatibility across our whole lineup (and 36mm Explorer has 20mm width)
