Rolex Explorer 2 ref: 16570
Bit of a grail watch for me. Rolex Explorer 2, 16570, 2008, cal 2185, traveler GMT, hollow center link Oyster bracelet. Actually, prefer the 16570 to the more recent 226570 etc. due to the 39mm size and lighter weight bracelet.

I agree, this one's better than the newer one. While I'll never own one, this is the only Rolex (until the 1908 came along) I ever really wanted. ❤
I love this watch and the fact that it is smaller and lighter than the 226570 just makes it so much more attractive!!

It’s a cracker and great value given that it’s almost the same as a GMT Master 2 sans rotating bezel (which I don’t want with a GMT anyway) for considerably less.
I like the 39 mm also . I have a 6” wrist . I tried on the new E2 at BKK Airport Rolex Boutique and it was way too big for my wrist and felt “ too sharp” ? Lovely watch still ….
