Need recommendations - GMT under 40mm

I am about to pull the trigger and get myself my first proper watch. I have a 7”+ wrist but prefer smaller dials.

I am looking at GMTs (fine with diver GMTs as well) and not particular if it’s a true or an office GMT.

Budget under $1.5k but could maybe stretch it to $2k for something amazing. I plan on using the watch as my everyday wear and while I won’t be diving, I’m not taking the watch off if I go to the beach / pool / driving range.

Please share your recommendations. Appreciate the help!

P.S. If there are any young brands that you see potential in and think in 8-10 years you’d look back and go ‘glad I bought that watch in 2023’, please let me know :)

Great recommendations, thanks!

Do you think the Sinn is worth the price point? Especially when compared to the specs of the others on your list? Evaluating (outside of design/aesthetic appeal) is something I’m struggling with :)

I’d love to hear your top recommendations, regardless of whether I’ve already considered them or not :)

Depends on if you like the design of the Sinn, you are paying for tegiment steel over the others. Having never owned a Sinn I couldn't tell you either way if it's worth it or not. I'm sure an owner on here will be able to give you an opinion.

Christopher Ward recently introduced a new C63 Sealander GMT.

Their’s a few different colourways and they also have diver gmts if you’d prefer one of them.
