Omega Quartz reliability

Omega Owners: Okay so, in my hunt for the 30 yr work anniversary watch, I've identified that I'll definitely be doing another Omega. Have any of you ever owned an Omega quartz? I don't know how reliable Omega quartz is. Do you know? My experience is only with Automatic or Manual. Thoughts appreciated.

I’ve owned my Seamaster AquaTerra quartz for about 20 years. I did get it serviced once with a battery replacement recently. Still looks great. Still keeps great time.

I didn’t  think Omega made quarts watches anymore though.

I have an Omega 300m Seamaster in quartz for 20+ years. It is perfectly reliable and accurate to around 1 to 2 seconds a month. I did have a mishap in that I changed the battery a few years ago, it was a cheap battery and leaked and I had to have the movement replaced with an OEM which was almost £200, my fault of course. If Omega did quartz again I would not hesitate to buy another. Mine in great condition with usual patina which adds to the charm.  Just added this pic, Omega still do a quartz but I cant afford it !

They don't. I'm buying a pre-owned/used one.

They do still make quartz watches:

Though it’s mostly ladies watches.

The Marstimer is just such a cool watch!  I have no need to ever know what time it is on Mars, but would love to have one!

I didn't know they still made quartz watches. Omega Seamster AquaTerra at that.

Omega quartz are quite common, usually among ladies watches, and up to 36mm mid-size variants.

The official Omega service center in my country is notorious for overpricing their battery replacement service, by pretending that the battery has leaked.

Anyway my dad has a quartz Constellation Manhattan with an independently adjustable hour hand, likely from the 70s or 80s. It still runs fine.
