I didn't end up getting the BB GMT :( I negotiated with the seller to meet up and inspect the watch and all the purchase information to make sure it was legit. once that was done and we agreed on a price, he just kept changing the date of the exchange and made excuses for it. So I got fed up and backed out.
I have been monitoring the watch and it is still listed for sale. it did go on hold for a few days but it's back on sale again.
I hate it when you agree to pay the seller's asking price and do all the chasing up, but they waste your time ;(
The AD just reduced the price of the JLC to $9k flat from $12,200.
Reading all the comments and looking on Chrono24.com and Chronext.com it seems that there are a lot more Aqua Terra than the Polaris. Also, the JLC Polaris keeps its price better than the AT.
with that, it seems the decision is clearer now.
